Fabric and Yarn and Snow... oh my!

I have a problem. I'm addicted to these stitch and flip blocks. They are so much fun. I can't stop. Help.
With two girls, I have lots of pink fabric scraps. It was time to put them to good use. I added some red too. The fussy cut centers are from a fabric line called Children at Play by Sarah Jane from Michael Miller. I had a small piece and cut 3-4 centers but I wish I had more. After searching the web, e-mailing sewing friends, and making phone calls, I got nothing.

I wasn't sure about adding the tangerine color but I'm glad I did. I like the addition of a third color. I'm just playing and planning as I go with this quilt.

I ordered some bulky yarn from Morehouse Farms when they were having a big bulky yarn sale. I used one of their patterns, SuperMitts, to make these mittens. They are all about warmth and comfort. If you need to shovel the snow or make a snowman, they will keep your hands warm the whole time. I've put them to good use with the winter we're having this year.

Once a month, I go to Savers in search of buried treasure. Usually, I don't find much but every once in awhile I'll find a diamond in the ruff. This time I struck gold. Here is Berroco Origami yarn in lovely shades of teal and gold. I found them in a bag with 7 skeins for $12.99 total (the price on the tag is the original price for one). Wow! Not sure what I'll knit up but I can't wait to get started. Any ideas?

Then, I found 5 balls of Plymouth Encore Colorspun for the same price. Anyone having a baby? This has baby blanket all over it.
